Ken,
Great post and beautiful fish. I want to fish that Miracle Mile some day. My buddy Rob and I fished the Tongue River on our way to Montana, but that's all my exposure to WY fishing.
Is your wading staff a Simms one? I really want to get one and I'm leaning toward that brand...

A wonderful trip and great report Ken. Its hard fishing new water but you guys did a super job figuring it out.
I use a collapsible Simms wading staff.
Rawlins is about four/five hours from where I was located in Idaho, which is 1,264 miles from Tulsa.

Yes, my wading staff is a Simms (collapsible). Saved me from several spills this trip. Also allowed me to get to some water that would have gone unfished without the staff! The newer models have a "locking feature" that keeps it from coming apart--that's what you want.
Tight Lines- Ken
