"Subjects include any and everything you can think of. Examples: Regulation changes including lowering the keep number, get rid of the over 20" rule on browns and red zones, move, enlarge, change red zones, definitions of bait (apparently, they can't come up with one that the public can understand). River repairs include repar and dredge out the Evening Hole, dredge out below Evening Hole bridge and make a new beach on the Hickory campground side to become the new Cold Hole, etc." Yes, ALL of this!!

If all goes right, I'll be able to tell y'all how the pile looks on the 27th. I don't know if I'll get around to a picture, or not. I've learned the hard way not to carry my phone while I fish.

There's this little invention called the Ziplock bag that will keep that phone safe and dry. You can even use the keys and the camera while your phone is safe inside! JR

I have a company issued Samsung. 3 years ago I was carrying an iPhone, also company issued. When I ruined it in a river I got in some trouble. Now I'm too askeert to carry it, even in a baggie. I probably should look into a waterproof case or something, but I'm real comfortable just leaving it in the truck as it doesn't actually belong to me.

Iām jealous. All my bruises have faded away and only one scab left from my fall on spillway last trip. Be careful and have fun

I worked in a fly shop in Roscoe, NY in 2010. A fellow came in that had obviously taken a dunk in his waders. He was still wearing them. LOL. He had his cell phone in the inside pocket of his waders.
You should have HEARD the language when he realized his phone had drowned! OH, the humanity!

Last year I found a flip phone on the river bottom, in a couple feet of water by the Evening Hole bridge. Knowing that it was now just water soaked toast I just stuck it in my vest pocket. A half hour later I received a text on it from AT&T thanking the owner for using their service! I was able to find a number for his wife and mailed it to them. We were all surprised it still worked as it was not considered a waterproof phone.

Thanks, Bill! I'll think of you, that is, if I really end up going. I'm always a little surprised when my plans actually come to fruition.

I hope they go in and plant some trees, shrubs, and grasses in the former rock pile. All of that baron rock is going to get hot.

Hey JR, learn single hand spey casts, no backcast required. I've learned a few now and there is no place on the river, creek or stream that I can't lay line out on.

That's something that I've been planning to learn. I need to learn both single- and double-handed Spey casting. I've also heard the crappies are moving shallow right now. Gotta get the mini jigs and woolly buggers out and walk the shoreline at Pines. JR
