Well after reading a recent post about the rock pile run and wanting to expand my fishable water, how do y'all fish that stretch of river. We are coming back up in early May. I'm hoping to have a 3wt euro rod by then and it seems like this would be a good place to try it? I have been having decent success nymphing under an air lock but am really interested in euro nymphing. I know the flow is pretty swift in this run and the depth is relatively shallow. With all that being said, how do y'all fish this run. Thanks in advance for any input.

The key with that kind of water type is limiting your surface drag. Remove the bobber and high stick or tight line the seams and pockets, not letting your fly line touch the water. If your not using tungsten flies add some bb shot.

Does anyone know how deep the hole in the Rock Pile is, just curios?
Also, are there any intentions on putting some of that rock in the hole to make it, I don't know waist deep?

The rockpile run is often less than knee deep. Some places it may approach waist deep, but not deeper. The bluffs is a whole different story......
