To my understanding they sent those pros down last year and they determined that it was unsafe so that’s the reason they put the signs up and said no more

The county is cracking down hard on kayaking from what I understand. They're getting pretty fed up with it. Here's a meeting that took place recently: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJ9RvTQnQjo&feature=share&fbclid=IwAR2thUWasr2Oz3WZfljYF_HMp7wBLJzsM2HgdlFBAMEw6FpTbxsEWo34fwYI hope this includes the tubers and body surfers running down lower Spillway into Cold Hole. It's just a matter of time before one of them gets seriously hurt, if one hasn't already. I know a bunch of us would like to see Evening Hole Bridge all the way to upper Spillway be made into angling only. I canoe/kayak quite regularly, but I am fine with not using them in much of the LMF. If I want a long trip in one of my boats, I have other options that are better suited and more remote from other anglers and recreational users of a park.

Just curious...is boating allowed in Zone 2? I might be wrong (usually am lol) but I think the only spots in the park where it is forbidden is now all of spillway creek and from the markers around powerhouse to old park dam, start of zone 2.
