Hi Everyone - I am going to CO in a few weeks on what has turned into an annual fishing trip with a friend who lives in Ft Collins. The past couple of years we have fished the Cache la Poudre, Big Thompson, and RMNP. This year we are going to try the Yampa near Steamboat and the North Platte near Walden. We want to wade and therefore aren't looking for a drift trip. Anybody have any suggestions or advice?
Thanks in advance!
Charlie

No boats on the Yampa, you're good there. The areas below stagecoach and in Steamboat Srings are very manicured, walker friendly. I don't know much else about it.
Try the Colorado or the Blue river below either Green Mountain or Dillon reservoirs. Big fish and walk-in or wade areas.
