Fishing was slow had my luck on sinking line running streamers. Had a lot of problems on Wednesday with batters, and campers swimming and doing whatever they really wanted along the bluffs and evening hole, and lost creek. Told people repeatedly they were in the wrong area, they didn't care or wouldn't respond. Thank goodness for the rain cause it cleared them out. Best luck came at night landed a good bow and a few other small ones. The little guys were pecking everything, a small Adams 18, and stimulator got there attention. Overall good trip, despite the epic rain storm that came through but glad it cooled everything down. Attachments:

Nice looking fish! What's up with the people, can't they read a map??! That's annoying.

I think people honestly don't care about the regs, I wish there was more of a presence from the wardens I know in the 8 yrs I've been going there I've never seen one on the banks. Maybe there should be more signs up along the river also I don't know. I'm all for people fishing, and teaching their kids to fish, just do it right and follow the rules don't teach them to break the rules.

Nice fish!
Too few wardens, too much area. Most only have 1 or 2 per county.

Yeah, I think there just isn't the budget for decent enforcement. A lot of yahoos realize that and take advantage.

I've only been up a few times last summer and this, but in the past, when I kept fish, I've twice had wardens ask (as if they needed to) if they could check my cooler. They do their best despite budgetary constraints. I've run into kids jumping from the cliffs below the fly shop when in my float tube. I've told them it's good for a fine and there was also a broken back maybe 10 years ago, but you're all correct, they don't care. Previous years I've seen inner tubes floating down from the tail water, noticed a rope hanging from the tree by the cliffs above the shop last month. Maybe we should rename it BB Waterpark? BTW, what weeks are stocking? I missed the transition from two to three weeks, but would like to make a trip next week or week of Aug 4 to wade as flippers in float tube hurt my foot that had surgery last summer. thanks, bob
