Curious if anyone here is a Ham. Received my technicians license last week and have been chatting to some locals and on a couple of nets.

Got my first class 50 years ago and worked in telecommunications professionally until 3 years ago... but never did the HAM thing. Nothing against it, I just was into other stuff for a hobby. HAMs perform a lot of good services... 8^)

Welcome to amateur radio (AKA Ham radio). I have had my license since 1971. WB5EYF. There are some real good repeaters in the BB area. Look at repeater book online for Broken Bow & De Queen AR. 73's

Welcome to amateur radio (AKA Ham radio). I have had my license since 1971. WB5EYF. There are some real good repeaters in the BB area. Look at repeater book online for Broken Bow & De Queen AR. 73's I'll definitely drag those over from repeater book next time I'm up that way. Thanks.
