Your LMF Fish Pick for 2020

This is my fish pick for 2020, caught right after a humiliating/hilarious (depends on whether or not you're me) slip-n-slide incident. I hope to see more like her this year, fingers crossed for a brown or two as well! 







What's your memorable LMFR 2020 fish?

Worth the reward! Grown-up wild bow?!

For me, it's gotta be this LMF brown with a distinctive elongated marking on the top of her head.
Maybe not my biggest for 2020, but pretty and the most memorable is that I caught her back-to-back within 5 minutes.
I haven't seen her again since. She may have wised up...

Well, I'm supposed to get a GoPro-type of camera for my birthday. After that, with luck and everything, I'll be able to post a nice fish pic sometime. I do not carry my cell phone with me when I wade as I had a bad experience once doing that. Hence, no pics from me, so far.

Smallfry/Gui...nice fish

My fish pick for 2020 was one of the bigger browns I've netted on the river.  The fish was caught the beginning of April in the late afternoon @ HH.  I scrambled about 80 yards chasing....really...really...not wanting to lose this one.

This maybe be too large of a video.  If not play till the end with the volume on.  Caught a nice trout and had a group of tourists behind me cheering me on, it was like having my own fan club for a fleeting moment!  Only at BBSP...

This was my first Trout ever on the Fly-Rod. Caught December 27th on the LMF. If you were in the vicinity of me you could probably tell it was my first one based on my ineptness in ability to guide the fish into my net. It was quite the show I believe for the guide and client directly downstream as well as the 3 gentleman on a bank. It will definitely be one that I will always remember.

This is my most memorable LMFR fish pic of 2020 since I believe it's the only fish I netted at the LMFR last year. This little stocker was caught just above the Evening Hole Bridge on January 1, 2020.

I wish I had a picture for 2020. I only got to the river one time in 2020 and that was Mystery Fly, which I got skunked. Then Covid hit inMarch and other priorities seemed to have taken over. The good news I made it there already this year. Will be there for Mystery Fly and again in March. My wife said I need to go Fly fish once a month! That put a puzzled look on my mug. But she said this past year was rough for everyone and this next year is more about “experiences” and getting back to “living”. I thought, and before she explained it, that I must have been quite the bear this year if you want me out of the house to fish! I’m glad I married that woman.

I would have gone up this weekend but figure roads are still tricky and Wednesday we had a pipe burst in the garage. We were melting snow to flush toilets and using bottled water for everything else. Finically fixed the leak on Friday and now I need to insulate and drywall the area this weekend so she can park her car in garage.

Hope all on this board are doing well.
