So, there are lot of small to medium ponds around here that look really good for warmwater fishing, but so far they're rather overgrown along the shoreline with only a few areas you could realistically cast from.
So, I'm thinking about getting a float tube to be able to fish these areas a little more thoroughly/easily. No plans to fish moving water or, god forbid, the ocean with this.
Anyone have recommendations? I see options that look plausible from about 200-500.
I have limited storage space, so something that packs up well is a big priority. That's also part of why I've zeroed in on a float tube as the watercraft of choice.

I have an Outcast Fishcat 4. I think it is the Deluxe model. Very rugged--been down the Guadalupe, bumped rocks and small branches/stumps and never a puncture. It also has the inflatable seat and backrest that does make it more comfortable. As for storage, if you deflate, should stow away pretty easy. If you get one, get the double-action pump that pumps air into the tube on the up and down strokes).
