Hey Guys, First time posting here. I have been fishing the Lower Mountain Fork once a year for nine years now. I make an annual trip from New Olrleans with a few buddies around every Feb./March for a few days of fun and fishing. We have had some great times and I have learned alot about fishing up there. But in all the times I have only been rained on once. Well, we plan to be there at the beginning of next week and the forecast looks like lots of rain. Do any of you have any tips/techniques/fly choice for fishing in the rain? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I only get to do this once a year so I want to make the most out of it.

Nymphs, period. March Browns are drifting. Midges always work in cold weather. If the water is stained, tan or purple San Juan worms catch lots of fish. If you happen to hit a steady and low barometer, the fishing can be outstanding.
