Looks like spring's coming early, dogwoods appear to be blooming already around BB, lots of trees budding out. Grass is already green in places- in late February. Bass will be shallow soon. Ready for some smallies on the upper Illinois, Baron Fork, Glover, and Arkansas streams and some bass on the beds. I was thinking we would get a late-winter ice storm, but it's looking doubtful. No complaints here, as long as the lakes don't dry up...

Sand Bass are running already down in DFW, about a month early. I even saw some Largemouth in the shallows on a golf course lake last weekend.
It sure doesn't look like spring in Northern California.... even ski resorts are reporting too much snow, the lifts are encased in snowdrifts! I have a friend that is out there helping the flood situation down valley.

When it rains, it pours, especially in CA.
