My campsite for this coming weekend on the White is right on the water. Like to swing some streamers at night. Any suggestions on streamer patterns? I hear dark colors are best.

"Triple-articulated Dungeon Wagon streamer..."
Really though, I don't know. Anything meatie and that moves a bunch of water? Sex Dungeon, Cheech Leech, Sculpzilla, Mikes Meal Ticket?
Hell I'd try some of my Dollie Llama Alaska patterns too.
Is throwing some mice patterns a possibility?

Baahaha. Yeah, something like that. I might get sit down and spin up a few mouse patterns tonight. Also have some bass bugs already spun, might toss one of those. I'm thinking something like an oversized wooly bugger with a deer or wool head in various colors- black, olive, browns... not sure what the water type is at the campground, but I'll bet it will mostly require swinging.

Try the Dena fly. One of the few flies I tie after Phil from Marshall gave me a couple after the mystery fly tournament and JR from Longview gave me some materials.

Anything big and meaty like the kelly g streamers in like black, brown, or olive! Also maybe throw in some yellow or fire tiger type colors too in case of light conditions

Hank, in the past, there have been alot of sculpin in the Norfork, (not sure about the white), I would start with a sculpzilla. I plan on trying to throw a few.

Hank, I did mean the fly, LOL. If you are in that state when you throw it you may have to deal with the Baxter County authorities, in which case you may be able to swap the fly, as much as they cost($7-10), in return for bail!!

Hankin, Of course we aint right, we are fly fishermen. We're just a cast away from the looney bin. (They're coming to take me away, haha, they're coming to take me away. Those nice young men in their clean white coats. They're coming to take me away.)
