I am thinking of heading up tomorrow morning. I know we had a lot of rain down by my house. Do you think the river will be to high? Does it even get to high from rain being a tail water?
thanks for the help and happy New Year!

The river downstream will be off-color a bit, but spillway creek should be fishable. I imagine that you would be able to find fish willing to eat in numerous places all up and down the river.
I wouldn’t let the rain be a deterrent. Just being there is great. Go enjoy your day, and if you catch a few fish, then bonus!

Don’t forget to buy a new license! I think they all expire on December 31st.
