Who do we reach out to to provide public input on removing the stoplogs? I scanned the qr code in the fly shop but was directed to the same state park survey you get sent after camping. I understand that if we do reach out we need to make sure we reason that removing the stop logs will help spawning fish and flush silt from the river bed improving habitat.

Aron Maib, is the Park Manager at Beavers Bend State Park, last I recall, that may have changed by now, though.
But to your point, I think the park staff are the ones responsible for pulling out the stop logs and maybe the park manager makes the call as to if/when they'll be pulled out or not.
I'll DM you his email address so you can reach out.

Johnbo, I just sent you a DM. Hope it helps. I, too, will reach out. It’s the least they can do for the fly fisherpeople.

I just talked to Paula in Aaron Malb’s office. She asked Aaron about the stop logs for me, and I was told his reply was ‘Not at this time.’
Paula did say to feel free to call back at any time. The office number is (580) 494-6450. Go ahead and call. It can’t hurt, and it looks like we won’t get any action unless we continue to ask!
