It seems like we use, interchangeably, ODWC, USACE, the State Parks when talking about construction on the river. Isn't this really up to the state park to manage any changes done to the river? USACE simply manages the hydroelectric dam and water flows. ODWC manages (enforces??) fishing regulations. The State Parks owns the land around the river in places. I think who has managed the construction in previous projects? ODWC? Seems like the State Parks needs to be in on (our) proposed changes to the stream bed.

Which 4 or 5 letter agency is the one charged with replacing the bridge? They're the one I want to ask what the heck is going on right now. We have to get this straightened out!

This actually look like it might be an adventurous ride. Dodging needle's, bullets, homeless, and various local gangs as you cross their turf and a possible rabid dog.

Well if the Corps wanted to exercise eminent domain I s'pose they could channelize and line the banks of the river with concrete from the dam on down to the swim beach bridge. Think of the jobs that'd bring to McCurtain County! And think of the revenue from all the workers spending money there in Hochatown and Broken Bow. Hey I might be on to something fellas! I'm gonna write to some Congressmen right now to get the project under way. Thank me now, thank me later.
