I just found this documentary on Amazon Prime. Available elsewhere I'm sure. It is The Rocky Mountain Fly Highway. About fly fishing on Hwy 20 from Yellowstone, through Montana and Idaho, into Oregon. Beautiful scenery.

I have that video. Narrated by the guy that played the father in 'A river runs through it'. Ironic. Great voice though, and the video is just as compelling.

Great guys... now I have a bucket list of rivers to fish. Not that this would do it justice, but I think taking a month to experience these would be a fair start.

I watched it on Amazon Prime. It is most likely available to purchase on dvd, although I didn't look.
Edit: I looked. $19.99 on Amazon.

I watched and am ready to retire and spend a long season up there. Absolutely beautiful. I also watched the documentary on Hardy Brothers. Having dabbled in vintage fly gear, it was a wonderful account of Hardy's history. It is worth the watch to see the craftsmanship that went into their rods and reels.

Its snowing in SE Idaho today. Wish I was up there swinging a red partridge nymph on the Teton.

I watched it... and now I wish I hadn't. I'm retired but with a sickly wife and very aged mother-in-law... I can't go. Maybe next fall...

I have seen it. Yes it is T Skerrit. The guys from 2 Guys and River frequent that region 2-3 times/yr. Love that podcast. I am making 2 trips next summer - northern NM/So CO and maybe central CO, maybe the Yellowstone region. Might be up for someone to join along.
