Ken - the structures are 400 barrel oil tanks. The gas lines are also visible. That area is a relatively new shale play that will be exploited a bit more if prices rise.
Those are some nice sized small stream cutts. The Bonnie is really cool. Amazing how much the spotting patterns differ both between species and among the same subspecies. Sounds like a great trip. Great writing and detail too.
Always love your stories, can't wait to get back to Colorado/Utah/rockies myself......

I'm glad you guys enjoyed sharing in our adventure.
Jeff: We were close in our assessment (at least it's the energy field). I appreciate the amplifying info. Cutthroats are indeed beautiful fish and, as you noted, such a variety. I think there are still 5 subspecies I haven't caught.
