Does anyone know how to look up what the current release is out of the Spillway, ie, what is the rate of flow in Spillway Creek, Evening Hole, etc? I was wondering. At some point last week Peter had mentioned something about 140 cfs being anticipated for this week. I was hoping there's a site somewhere I can look up what the current release is. Thanks.

I’m assuming the low flow valve is fixed because it says that it’s open 20%. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong. Also it says the flow rate is around 142.

That is correct. They repaired the bulkhead Saturday morning and later restarted flows, which are as stated 142 cfs coming out of the spillway.

Fishing was interesting for me as the water was the lowest I've ever witnessed it.

Fishing was interesting for me as the water was the lowest I've ever witnessed it. Yeah, my son and I were there Thursday–Saturday, the water got pretty low. Many of the fish had already pooled-up with the low flow prior to them shutting it off. Talk about bad timing, the LMFR foundation had a stock truck of browns being delivered on Saturday morning, the same day and time the ACOE shut-off flows to repair the bulkhead. Hopefully the river can now have some extended time of consistent flows.

How was the clarity of the water?

How was the clarity of the water? The clarity was really nice, you can see it in this photo from Saturday morning while we were waiting for them to shut-off the water. But there wasn't much of flow coming down either. Maybe someone up there today could post an update.

Thanks, guys! So we know that 142 cfs is from the Spillway, correct, and not from the gates further downstream where they generate?

I was having all kinds of technical difficulties near "the log". I should have introduced myself. I caught two nice fish before the water got super low. The fishing picked up during the afternoon.

Yes, 142 cfs from the spillway, after they made successful repairs to the low flow gate. They anticipate a 140 cfs flow to remain for the foreseeable future – which is great news. I'm pretty sure that I may have talked to you for a bit Saturday morning. I was having all kinds of technical difficulties near "the log". I should have introduced myself. Oh man, yeah definitely. I'm terrible at that, especially when I'm on the river.

140 would be nice until summer. With the flood pool still having some water, with more on the way, it should hold.
