No shortage here....
I tend to carry too much when I fish sometimes. I don't carry *every* fly box I have (I mean, who needs a box full of bonefish flies on a trout stream?) and I've been better about leaving some things behind...
When I've found good deals on tippet, I've stocked up as I never want to run out. Here's my embarrassing amount of tippet in my chest/backpack:
My "Reserve" tippet in the backpack portion: Powerflex+ 5X, 6X Suppleflex 5/6/7X (this was quite a deal) Fluoroflex+ 5X, 6X, 6X Fluoroflex+ 3X, 4X
My "Working" tippet in the chest pack portion: Fluoroflex+ 4X, 5X Powerflex+ 6X TroutHunter 4.5X, 6.5X, 7X
You shouldn't ask me about my leader situation.......
What do you carry too much of?

I carry a big 200 yard spool of 4lb Seaguar for trout fishing, and several other small spools. I’ve been trying to find a way to carry less flies. I have a lot of boxes and I have attempted to make one box I can take for every occasion. That box seems to get refined very often. I hate carrying tons of fly boxes.

I just bought this case to organize all my extra stuff! www.basspro.com/shop/en/white-river-fly-shop-kootenai-reel-caseI'm trying to organize it to hold my spare reels, extra spools of line/tippet, extra floatant/leaders/misc, and fly boxes that I have no plan to use on that particular day.

I’m glad someone is worse than I am. My lanyard has SA 4X and 5X, Orvis 6X and 7X with Orvis 5X and 6X mono. In my chest pack is Trout Hunter 5.5X (my most used) and Rio 3X mono for streamers.

I carry too much tippet, especially the spools on my tippet holder. I say that because I don't use enough of it and some of the spools sit there too long. I've read that nylon tippet breaks down fairly quickly when it gets wet or exposed to UV. If I carry fewer spools then maybe I'll use them up within a year's time so I don't have to decide to throw them away or not.

I’m guilty of carrying every tippet spool I need both on my chest pack and lanyard. I find it "internally comforting" to be ready for whatever the situation. I never could find anything in the fly shops I liked so I made my own tippet carrier. I was visiting the plumbing supply area at HD and I saw some 1/4" PEX OT pipe and some compression fittings and decided to try it. You can cut the tube to hold any amount of tippet spools you want Plus some space for the rubber/brass fitting to lock it in place. After that, I melt some paracord together to form a loop that will go through the tube + a couple of inches on either side. I then grab some mono line and slide it though the tube, slide it though the paracord loo, then double-back through the tube. I then pull the mono back and the paracord comes through. I then just clip it to my chest pack. All the spools rest under the pack and out of the way. When I need tippet they swing up and I pull out what I need. I did the same thing with my lanyard only I drilled holes and used small zip ties instead of paracord to attach the tippet holder. I also used the rest of the PEX tube to hold the split shot. The split shot swings up when I need it but stays out of the way otherwise.

Believe it or not, I think I can say I don;t carry too much of anything--at least not any more. If it won't fit in my shoulder bag, it doesn't go on the river with me. I used to stuff my vest with everything I could imagine "possibly" needing. Yep--it got heavy. My neighbor made me a very functional shoulder bag from an old pair of waders I had. That changed everything. Not really a minimalist, but can come pretty close to that description.

That's an impressive amount of tippet hah... I've got you beat by one spool. I'm just not gutsy enough to show them all to the world at one time... that's baller!
I've got the WJ Confluence pack as well--great chest/backpack.

What do you carry too much of? Flies. I try to cram in every fly box. I can't be without my dries selection! What if a hatch starts while I'm far from the car? What if it's caddis instead of mayfly? I need both boxes! Oh, I need my streamers. I also need my nymphs....and my terrestrials and eggs. What about my micro jigs?
Tippet I have no problem with - spools of flouro from 3x through 7x, that's it. That can do everything I need it to.

I carry way too many flies. I must have about 10 fly boxes of various sizes, all in my Fishpond vest (I still can't find the fly I need on any given day). I also have a ridiculous assortment of indicators in one of the pockets. I keep bug spray in the back of the vest. That vest weighs a ton.
