Had an amazing time in Colorado. Landed well over 200 fish and threw nothing but dries the entire trip. We got into some great hatches from day 1, and yellow stimulators of various sizes were my go to flies. Broke off a massive brown about 6' from the net after a good fight, tried to horse him too much at the end. Cant wait to get back up to the LMF and throw some hoppers at some pigs in ZII. 1st 2 are from the Taylor river C&R. Nice brown on the mouse, and the fish were EVERYWHERE. they looked like sharks. The other brown was on an undisclosed river.

This about sums up the entire trip. Thats not the sun, its just me on the other side of the mountain beaming pure joy. Tight lines everybody, and good luck in the future on whichever waters you may find yourselves.

Great pics man! I wish I was still up there. Peter, I'm starting to have nightmares about the fish I missed on the mouse. We have to get back up there to find him.

Aaron, if I told you about the fish we have seen the last few days around the cave, it would probably make those nightmares worse.....

Brandon, I have a Panasonic Lumix TS20. Only had it for about a year but so far so good. I think it is 15 or 16 megapixels.

It rained just about everyday, got hit with a few big downpours but my Kelty tarp took all the wind and rain with no complaints. Hammock stayed bone dry as did all of my gear. Brought a sun shower and let it sit out in the open during the day, then hung it over some smooth river rocks that I had laid out. Made for a nice little outdoor shower. And I highly recommend the Dr Bronners liquid peppermint soap. kept the stank from ever building up too bad.

TA...we had a great time when we were up in Lake City...I must disagree with the last part of the post...I suggest the Alpine Moose Lodge for accommodations...bone dry as well...Peter it was great fun and many thanks for the time we got to spend with you...now back to the Lower Mt. Fork and some more great times on the water...Eddie
