Yesterday (Friday 2/24) I was fishing below the EH bridge, and large spinners (approx. size 10 -12) with white bodies were touching down. The trout were rising to them. Does anyone know what it is? What is the best fly pattern to use? I've never seen this fly in February. I tried both March Brown spinners and White Fly (Light Cahill) spinners, but only got a few takes to the white spinner. I could not catch any of the spinners to make a more definitive identification.

The only mayflies I have seen that were large amd white like that were light cahills. That was on the Little Missouri, I believe in late fall. I haven't heard of them in late winter/ early spring. In any case I imagine a light cahill pattern would substite nicely, from what you're describing.
