'Per Don Groom, the COE is opening up the spillway to 140 CFS this afternoon thru Thursday. They are shutting down the powerhouse turbines for maintenance. This will temporarily add about 40-50 cfs to our flow program.'
Great news, even if only temporary. I wish they could hold flows at 140.
The above came from an administrator that happens to fly commercial airliners.......

Wish I could be there, although it might take the fish a bit to adjust to the increase. More water through evening hole would for sure make for better fishing with more suitable, deeper water.

Probably everyone knows this, but when do they release or stock fish in the river? Does it really matter since the river is a couple miles long?

It matters if you want to catch dinner. Not if you just want to enjoy fishing. Stocking is every two weeks by the missiuri hatchery and usually occurs mid-week. Tyler has given them some stocking tips that seem to work.

Since the lake is right at full I wonder if they will up the flows a little to where they were? If I remember weren't the flows around 110 or 120 before they lowered them to 90 for the lake being low?

There is a recommended release for the summer months, but who knows if COE will stick to it. They want to get some more water in the lake, a little into the flood pool, before they up the releases to 140-150 again.
